They work for my purpose, which in part is to keep water out of my ears, while taking a shower. Also does a good job of drowning out noise.

3 Not comfortable over long periods of time

I like the convenience of being able to leave it on my neck when not in use. I wasn’t able to get as tight of a seal as the free ear plugs I use currently. Also, they are extremely uncomfortable and I couldn’t use them my entire 4 hour shift. I ended up throwing them away.

I prefer this style of ear plugs to the foam type attached together by a string. I can quickly remove and insert these into my ear without issue. I feel they reduce the noise just as much as the foam styles. Again this is just what I prefer so go with what you like.

I am working with them now. Wore them last night two. Great at noise reduction. Unfortunately they are a little uncomfortable to wear. Bending and flexing the band does help. Can wear them in many positions. Also a little uncomfortable is you have to repeatly put them on and take them off. Overall liked. A necessity for me. The tradition foam plugs are much more comfortable but are disposable and are more time consuming when they have to be removed and reinserted repeatedly!
