I got these for my wife because I snore. She loves them because she can still hear doors close but the snoring is diffused enough so she can sleep

When I received these they seemed a bit soft in the ear, however, after I had them in I used a power miter saw that is extremely loud and piercing. These humble little earplugs reduced the noise by more than half. I found that they reduced the noise even more than my high quality muff style ear protection. I recommend these highly.

While these work for what they are used, they do not provide noise reduction as well as foam plugs which are definitely NRR 32dB.
