Work well. Cord is handy when you want to put them in and take them out regularly. Great at the shooting range and race track.

The only thing I wish is that the string was about 6" longer so they hang lower around my neck. I use these to muffle the noise from lawn mowers, trimmers, edgers and blowers when I do landscaping. They certainly do the trick!! Would get again.
