Doesn't block as much noise as I wanted for loud music and Very uncomfortable in the ear.

My first impression was not a good one. These did not come in the package as shown on the website, which immediately has me rate this product a 1 star. I pulled them out of the package, they seemed cheaply made. Thought the ear plug piece was going to fall off before I got them on. I put them on and asked someone to talk. I could hear them clearly so I almost sent them back without trying them in the noise condition I bought them for. I decided that was not fair, so I tried them in the shop. I use a blast cabinet with a vacuum and air compressor. Much to my surprise, the noise was suppressed very well. How sturdy they are under use is yet to be determined but they definitely reduced the noise.

They work for my purpose, which in part is to keep water out of my ears, while taking a shower. Also does a good job of drowning out noise.

I prefer this style of ear plugs to the foam type attached together by a string. I can quickly remove and insert these into my ear without issue. I feel they reduce the noise just as much as the foam styles. Again this is just what I prefer so go with what you like.
