I wasn't expecting 32 decibel class noise reduction. But I feel like these are among the weakest on the market. and if you find that it's driving the earplugs so deeply into your ear they might be touching in the middle, you can take the rubber pieces off take some scissors and snip the stem a lot shorter and that way it's not capable of driving that far into your ear. but if you just need to cover up and reduce about 15 decibels every once in awhile these will work just fine and they're what you expect for the price.

Sure, they do reduce the sound of things, but not half so much as a different, older pair i was replacing. Not unhappy, per-se, but definitely unimpressed.

Not tight in the ear canal, but the width across my head. I have to bend them out a bit or they push in too hard. Maybe I have a big head.They do work great, very quiet.Can't beat'em for $2 a pair!JOC

4 Does not cancel noise as claimed

Construction seems to be fine, but the blockage of noise is lacking. I brought these ear plugs to use while shooting. They do work to some degree but not nearly as well as my cheapo over-the-head style muffs. These are advertised as noise cancelling in the high 20's dB level - nope not even close to that. They were very inexpensive, but you don't get much for what you do spend. I do not recommend these.
