Used for construction purposes and they work great! I can protect my hearing so when I return home from work I can hear my beautiful wife greeting me, "I love you, how was your day" or sometimes I make it home before her and I can hear her from the front door calling out, "what's for dinner, I gotta go to the bathroom first!" I can hear my kiddos babble about, well sometimes I don't even know. But it's sweet and I can hear them, thanks to these.Now, I can't do this review alone, I've seen how handy these are for my wife. She will put these in as I play a video game (here and there) and she can work on her stuff, while still feeling as we are together but separately working on our own items. We can still be in the same room, together, do independent activities but united by the walls surrounding us...oh and again earplugs work great!!

3 Uncomfortable, too much pressure on the ear

The problem with these is the only way they would be comfortable is if one had a head the size of a child. After one minute of wearing them, my ears began to ache so couldnt say with regard to noise cancellation or level. Maybe I just have a big head...
