5 Excellent Ear Protection

I have tried many earplugs and these are very good and comfortable too. I wanted a higher rated NRR to protect my hearing. After using these I have not noticed any ringing in my ears after a round at the clay course.

5 Snoring Spouse Solution

Works so well that when my husband brought me my morning cup of coffee, I had no idea I had slept thru his early morning snoring (@4am to 6). Now that is history in the making. Bonus- bright blue makes them easier to find on the night stand.I had been using MACKS for years but the company changed how they were made and so I started looking for a replacement. These are very comfortable and work blocking out traffic, the A/C and the man in my life's snoring. They are a bit large, but I just nipped off a bit at the end. Definitely would recommend to anyone with a snoring spouse.

3 Caution if you are buying these for noise protection

What strikes you most is how soft these are. They are very soft. Now I am not basing my evaluation on how soft they are but how they compare to other ear plugs of similar shape, older and made in an orange material. The ones I compared to are rated at 28db. These are listed as 32db noise reduction. These are significantly louder than the older ones I have. I would guess these are something more like 26db noise reduction. I have no way to accurately measure these, I just compared them directly to another brand. I would use these in conjunction with a set of noise reduction muffs and maybe alone in an outside environment. I would not rely on these as my sole hearing protection in an indoor shooting range.Before anyone comments, yes; I had them inserted properly, deep in the ear cannel.

The insertion tab is also soft so almost impossible to insert them into the ear canal

5 Swimmers plugs

I use these for swimming and they work fine; They are a bit too large in bulk for my ears, but they do the job. I also wear a pair for sleeping and they work equally well for that. A nice feature is having every 2 plugs enclosed in cellophane..

great for reducing background noise while sleeping. If you at going to use it for really loud noises (Firearms, concerts) buy better protection.

Used for lawn mowing, string trimmer and blower. They block noise very well. They are much more comfortable than the Harbor freight orange silicone ones.
