Not Quite The Best Foam Earplug I've Ever Used, But Close

Posted by Zeke Lark on Sep 17th 2020

These are great foam earplugs, and at $.14 a pair, they're not very expensive either. Unlike other earplugs I've used, they do a great job at compressing down when you roll them so that you can get them in your ear enough that they're effective. That's quite nice. The only "downside" I've found is that they don't seem to block quite as much sound and other foam earplugs I've used (perhaps they're not quite as dense as others?). They're effective enough to block out most "normal" sounds, but you'll still be able to hear a loud conversation/crying baby/etc. while wearing these. That being said, I'd still recommend them (especially if you want them for sports shooting or something similar where you'll additionally be wearing over-the-ear protection).

Nice ear plugs thst do their job

Posted by Curly Bibliophagist on Sep 16th 2020

These are the standard ear plugs that people wear for certain sports and in loud environments. The material is easiky maliable so you can get them in your ears. They do a good job at protecting your ears from loud noises l. The dayglo orange makes it easy for others to see that you are wearing ear plugs so they know that you might have trouble hearing them. Each set comes individually packaged.

    Good fit!

Posted by LVT on Sep 16th 2020

I really like how these fit in my ears. I have started using ear plugs when sleeping and these are so much more comfortable than an ear bud or head phone. I woke up this morning with them still solidly in my ears and nothing woke me up. My husband works late and he streams music etc in the very next room and I did not hear any noise from there.Note: These do not block out ALL sounds, you can hear people talking etc, it just takes everything down a notch and blocks out completely sounds like music or a tv in the next room that used to wake me up through the night.

Excellent pack of cheap foam earplugs

Posted by Anonymous on Sep 16th 2020

Not much to say beyond the obvious: this is an extremely inexpensive pack of useful foam earplugs. They are packed individually in plastic wrappers so they can be used as throw-ins or single-use items for a wide range of uses, in the shop or out and about, or tossed in a travel kit. The plugs themselves are as good as usual foam plugs you'd find anywhere else, perhaps a tiny notch below Leight or other name brands but still very useful. The only downside of any kind that I noticed is the outer package, a simple Ziploc bag — mine came open during shipping, spilling some of the plugs within the shipping envelope. No big deal.

    Work great & great value

    Posted by CarGuy_SB on Sep 16th 2020

At around 7 cents per pair, these are a great value and at that price you are less inclined to try to reuse them which is probably for the best. They work great -- roll the ends to compress them, insert in ear and hold in place for a few seconds. As they expand, the seal off your ear canal and block sound very well. They are about as comfortable as other ear plugs I have worn in the past. I am not a fan of using ear plugs all the time since they are generally a bit uncomfortable and can cause ringing in my ears -- but if you are in a loud environment, they are a MUST in order to protect your hearing.WHAT I LIKE:* Very effective sound deadening for loud environments* Very inexpensive (around 7 cents per pair)* Large count -- nice to have alot on hand so you don't feel the need to reuse (which feels less sanitary and non-ideal)

    Excellent Foam Earplugs

Posted by loveguitar on Sep 15th 2020

These are your basic, orange foam ear plugs. No thrills, no frills. I can't help but like these a lot because they are so easy to use and after inserted them into my ears (and after they expand) I forget they're in there. If it weren't for some of these type ear plugs years ago when one of my babies was very colicky and crying/screaming almost non-stop, I would have gone mad. I could easily hear my baby and try to soothe her, but that ear drum piercing high-pitch scream was not able to get past my ear plugs - thank you God. I would wear these underneath hard shell hearing protection when at the range, but never without more hearing protection over them because they aren't made for that kind of loudness. They are great for when at the dirt track and the cars roar by - keeps a lot of the damaging vibrations from entering your ears. This is a BIG bag of foam earplugs so keep some in your purse, car, backpack.....whatever. Probably not super good for rock concerts but definitely better than nothing.

    Great.

    Posted by J-Zilla on Sep 14th 2020

These plugs are not meant to block all sound they are meant only to reduce it. If you are working somewhere where its loud but have to be aware of your surroundings then these would be prefect. The tips come individually packaged in pairs which is pretty handy for having them on the go or distributing to others. The tip has to be lightly squeezed and placed in the ear, it will slowly expand and reduce the surrounding noise. I use large earphone tips and these expanded well inside my ears.

    Great Price For 50 Earplugs

Posted by Becky Brooks on Sep 14th 2020

My son and daughter in law play live music so they go through a lot of these to keep from damaging their hearing. These work well and were a very good value. It's easy to carry in your pocket or store some in the car. Since they are individually wrapped the do not get dirty. This was a very good buy and I'd buy them again. Thanks for reading my reviewBecky Brooks

    Foam Earplugs

Posted by DaviWilso on Sep 14th 2020

What an amazing value these earplugs are! I'm around loud music all the time as a band director. These are a real help to me in an effort to save my ears. Even if you just like to attend concerts or you do lawn mowing. These can save your ears from harmful noise that WILL cause you problems later in life - believe me. Use earplugs to save your hearing and if you're shopping for earplugs, try these. It's nice because you can just throw them away when they get too dirty or worn. At this price, it's easy to invest in your ear health and protect yourself.
